Program Overview

We all crave greater depth and inspiration in our practice, but we don’t always have the time or resources to commit to a long training—especially for teachers who’ve already done extensive trainings. Teachers also know that improving their skills will help them make a greater impact in their students’ lives and create more satisfying classes. An expert in teacher education, Jason has mentored students and teachers long enough to know exactly what they need to keep their yoga thriving in every way.


Each morning is dedicated to your practice. You’ll savor a strong, intelligently sequenced vinyasa practice that will guide you to your physical edge and help you grow as a student. You’ll discover powerful ways of opening your hips and shoulders, refine your knowledge of yoga’s most essential poses, explore creative arm-balances and backbends, and cultivate seated meditation and pranayama.


Each afternoon is dedicated to becoming a more knowledgeable, skillful and insightful teacher. You will work on every aspect of teaching, from giving more successful manual adjustments to enhancing your knowledge of anatomy. You’ll learn to create sequences for every posture group and how to provide more accurate, impactful verbal instructions. You’ll also have the rare opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of being a teacher and get feedback about your experience.



This program is for you:

This program is designed for students of every lineage who want more depth, skill and inspiration in their practice and teaching. For dedicated practitioners that aren’t teaching yoga, this program will provide you with greater intensity and insight in your practice. It will also provide you with a glimpse into the experience of teaching yoga. For yoga teachers, this program will enhance your technical abilities and help you find your voice.


You will learn:

-How to practice and teach challenging backbends such as dropbacks and scorpion in your practice.


-How to practice and teach deep hip-openers including hanumanasana and padmasana variations and alternatives.


-How to practice and teach arm-balances and inversions such as handstand and bakasana variations.


-How to work safely and effectively with the hips, shoulders, and spine in every posture group.


-How to create purposeful, effective sequences that focus on backbends, forward bends, twists, and side-bends.


-How to simplify complex anatomy into simple concepts that everyone can use.


-How to give safe, effective adjustments and deliver clear, accessible verbal instructions.


-How to use yoga to facilitate sustainable transformation.


-Greater understanding of the philosophical components of the Yoga Tradition and how to communicate these themes to your students in clear, accessible language.


-How to stay connected to your core principles as a practitioner and teacher.
