Blissful Backbends Workshop - Anatomy, Asana, and Alignment of the Pelvis, Spine, Shoulders and Arms in Backbending Poses
us as we explore the Pelvis, Spine, Shoulders and Arms in backbending.
We'll review the Anatomy and Physiology of the Pelvis, Spine, Shoulders
and Arms in backbends discuss their strengths and weaknesses then
introduce Alignment Principles to safely create stability in Pelvis and
healthy range of motion in Spine, Shoulders and Arms while Backbending.
And to put the Anatomy and Alignment Principles into Action, we'll
incorporate all this information into an Asana practice (physical poses)
emphasizing classical Backbends. This course offers an in-depth study
of classical Backbending Hatha yoga poses for the beginner student or it
is a great refresher for the intermediate or advanced yogi or yogini.
will also address the spiritual aspects of the Pelvis, Spine, Shoulders
and Arms in Backbends and heart openers including, but not limited to,
the Bhandas, Vayus, Chakras and Nadis.
